CREATIVITY
We
have a creative God. If you don’t believe me, take a walk with me thru’ the
woods that is in back of our home. First of all, if you are looking carefully,
you will see several species of humble wild flowers. Some of them have very
tiny petals—delicate and with a faint aroma. They bloom bravely amid the tall
grasses, shrubs, and trees. Their colors of violet, white and blue delight the
eye and it is as though they are silently begging to be seen and admired, tho’
they are often passed by because people are in a hurry and tend to look up
instead of down.. God planted them for our enjoyment; only He could have given
them their variety of color and delicacy.
Next,
take time to observe—and hear—the birds. The haughty cardinal looks down on
the lowly and friendly chickadee. The robin hops along, looking for that
elusive worm, and the sparrow remains his happy self—after all, he is
mentioned in the Bible! God has given us these lovely creatures and who but He
could have given them such variety of color and song?
The
animal kingdom—no two alike from the playful kitten to the cocky rooster. He
crows as if he owned the earth and the hen cackles in delight at her brood of
chicks.
Who could
have thought, except our creative God, to give each animal a different
life-style?
Have you
ever wondered as you see the tiniest insect that can hardly be seen, how this
tiny creature can eat, excrete, procreate??? How is that possible with such
an almost non-existent body? Again, our creative God thought it all out for
each of his creatures including mankind. Every one of us has a different set
of finger prints and his own DNA pattern. Amazing!
Has it
occurred to you that such a God is OUR God! What wonderful thought! Can we not
trust Him for everything in our lives?? How can we doubt such a Being
with the creative powers that we have seen. With God,
all things are possible. Let’s
trust Him, not only for our salvation, but for our everyday lives. We serve a
creative God! Trust Him and see what He can do for you!
